Leashes, Leads and Tracking Lines
*** Shipping Costs will be billed separately once your order is ready for shipping. ***
We make our custom lines with genuine Biothane material, a synthetic material that is superior to leather in strength and durability. They can be dragged through the mud and wiped clean with a damp cloth. They do not require oiling like leather lines.
In addition, unlike leather that takes months to become supple, our lines are supple from the beginning. They don't absorb water, mud, feces, odors. They have great handling characteristics... even when wet.
If your lead gets wet, simply wipe with a cloth and it's dry. These leads are flexible in cold weather, have outstanding strength and they can be disinfected.
Leashes come with a handle unless you request markers.
All products are double-riveted.

Uses: Nosework, Hunting, Agility, ObedIence, Rally - O, French Ring
Nosework: 6 and 10 or 12 feet are the most common lengths.
Tracking: The leash will be between twenty (20) and forty (40) feet in length.
Schutzhund Tracking: 10 meters (33 feet)
SAR tracking: Personal preference, based upon terrain and situation, often between 20-25 feet. In woods and scrub a 15 foot line is more manageable.
Waist-leash: You might want to consider a waist-leash. It is made to fit your waist (plus 4-5 inches) and it has a ring in the handle. When your dog is working off-lead, you clip it around your waist. When you need to put your dog back on-lead, it is always handy. No fumbling and "Where did I put my leash?"
Obedience: 6 feet
Agility: A tab is useful while transitioning to off-leash while on course.
